CBD— Tonight, December 9, Loa hosts a cocktail reception for International House and PhotoNola’s holiday photography exhibition ‘Magdalena’—artwork honoring Mary Magdalene— with a specialty chartreuse cocktail created by bartender Alan Walter and live music from Helen Gillet from 8 to 11 p.m. [Eaterwire]

BUCKTOWN— Chef Allison Vega’s newly-opened seafood eatery Station 6 is launching a Louisiana Happy Hour on December 13. Every Tuesday to Thursday, from 3 to 6 p.m. you’ll find discounts on oysters and drinks, and a house happy hour special including half a dozen oysters, Cajun caviar (Choupiquet bowfin caviar), and a glass of champagne for $15.
