Three Muses Maple Will Add Seoul Shack Lunch Service in January

UPTOWN— Three Muses Maple will start serving lunch in early January (every Tues-Fri from 11:30 a.m to 3 p.m.) with a menu from Seoul Shack, including chicken wings, Bibimbap, noodle bowls, ramen, tacos and more. The restaurant will also offer delivery via local app Waiter, and area planning a late night karaoke and small plates menu from Seoul Shack as well. The Korean soul food pop-up was founded by Three Muses’ partner Sophie Lee and also has plans to go brick and mortar on St. Claude Ave. [Eaterwire]

LAFAYETTE— Keith Spera reports that Rock N Bowl is expanding to Lafayette. Owner John Blancer will bring bowling, food, music and a second floor of party rooms to to the former headquarter’s of Whitney Bank in downtown, which Blancher bought for a cool $2.5 million. [Advocate]

MID CITY— Frey Smoked Meat Co. has won a Times-Pic reader poll for having the best biscuits in New Orleans. What makes them so good? “They are tall, 2 to 3 inches” with “a light crust on the outside and... served with house-made honey butter.” [NOLA.com]
