CENTRAL CITY— Ian McNulty reports that open-air food court and small business incubator Roux Carre has two awesome new vendors, Ericka Lassair’s hot dog fave Diva Dawg and Creole soul food pop-up Black Swan Food Experience (debuting on December 1), operated by chefs Nikki Wright and Shana Turner. NORTHSHORE— Todd Price reports that Lama’s St. Roch is now open in Mandeville from seafood pro Anthony Lama Jr., whose family ran the St. Roch Market for decades, and partner Matt Watson, former operator of po boy hub Bear’s. The restaurant does New Orleans staples including gumbo, fried seafood and roast beef po’ boys. A market for fresh and boiled seafood will be added in the new year. [NOLA.com]

QUARTER— Tiki hotspot Latitude 29 debuts its seasonal Sippin Santa’s Surf Shack, a Christmas-themed drink menu with numerous holiday libations served in cool holiday glassware from Jeff Beachbum Berry and bartender Brad Smith, available December 1-24.
