IRISH CHANNEL— Ian McNulty repors that po’ boy and a beer standby Tracey’s has added yet another reason it’s a game day fave, a brand new oyster bar. Other new oyster bars in town including the Westbank’s Lafitte’s Landing, Mr. Ed’s in Mid City, and MeMe’s in Chalmette. [Advocate]

CENTRAL CITY— Todd Price reports that 14 Parishes, a new Jamaican eatery from Jamaica natives and former Atlanta restaurateurs Conroy and Charles Blake, has opened in the former location of The Big Top and The Beatnik (1638 Clio St.) with a menu that includes jerk chicken, oxtail stew and more. Booze permit is pending. []
