Catahoula, an upcoming boutique hotel heading to 914 Union St. in the Warehouse District is set to have a killer food and beverage program, Ian McNulty reports this week.

A 'modern' ground floor cocktail lounge will also function as a coffee bar and a Peruvian restaurant. Pisco whiz, Tiki Tolteca alum and Eater NOLA Bartender of the Year 2013 Nathan Dalton is on board as food and beverage director. His cocktail menu will feature pisco drinks (duh), classic New Orleans drinks and elaborate 'experience drinks.'  Carmo's chef Dana Honn is consulting on a menu of Peruvian-inspired cuisine.   A rooftop tiki bar will also open later in the spring.

The hotel, a first for Keely Williams and A.J. Brooks of Ley Line Development, will open in March,  joining a slew of nearby developments including a Canopy by Hilton and the anticipated Ace Hotel also expected to open soon.
