MID CITY— The anticipated second location of Bevi Seafood Co. is expected to open sometime next week after a final inspection with 40 seats, po boys, fried seafood, retail seafood, local beers on tap and even a daiq machine from chef/owner Justin Leblanc in the former KJean location. 235 N. CENTRAL CITY— Hotly-anticipated Texas-style barbecue hub, bar and music venue Black Label Icehouse will officially open on October 2 with live music, brisket, ribs and more meats by the pound from native Texan/pitmaster Damian Brugger. There will also be sinful bar food (beer boiled mac and cheese, 'crack poppers', etc), a full array of booze and regional beers on tap at the 30 foot bar, a pool room, and plans to add a patio and outside bar by Mardi Gras 2016. 3000 Dryades Street.
