Just four months after opening, food hall St. Roch Market is seeing some lineup changes: Nigerian food stall Lagos is out as of August 13, says NOLA.com. But it's not all bad news for fans of Detroit export Tunde Wey's pepper soup and fried plantains; he will reportedly open up a brick-and-mortar version of Lagos this fall, after doing some traveling to cook around the U.S.
Meanwhile, says Todd Price, the Lagos space will be temporarily taken over by Mojo Rojo, a concept from King Creole's Micah Martello that "will serve Cuban and Latin food, such as ropa vieja, plantains, empanadas and variations on Cuban sandwiches."
Also on the move is bartender extraordinaire Ali Mills of The Mayhaw Bar, though Price says she'll stay on as a consultant.
