LAKEVIEW— Sad news today: "Mr. Tony" Angello, owner of the 40+ year-old eponymous Creole Italian eatery Tony Angello's known for its epic family-style feast, the 'Feed Me' as well as the classic Eggplant Tina, has passed away at the age of 88. [WWLTV]

QUARTER— Ian McNulty reports that the Old Absinthe House is the 'unofficial hub' for drinking during Tales. If you want to see or be seen by anyone in the cocktail industry head to this bar this week, especially on Thursday at midnight, when the USBG holds its annual toast on front. [Advocate]
