ST. TAMMANY PARISH—Quarterback/sub sandwich hawker Drew Brees is opening another Jimmy John's franchise "at the new entrance to the Northpark business park south of Covington." Brees apparently intends to retire a sandwich king, with plans for as many as 20 locations on the north shore. [NOLA.com]

CENTRAL CITY—The St. Charles Avenue location of Zea Rotisserie & Grill will shutter for good on Father's Day (June 21). Per a press release, Zea was "unable to come to a long-term lease arrangement" but is "actively searching for an alternative location." In the meantime, Zea locations in Metairie, Harahan, Covington, Harvey, Kenner, Slidell, Lafayette, and Baton Rouge remain open. [EaterWire]
