Adolfo Garcia's just-opened Primitivo, home of hearth-cooked proteins and Boulevardiers on tap, is now open for lunch. Per Gambit, lunch service runs Tuesday through Friday between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.; in addition to the regular menu, there's also a selection of sandwiches — think smoked catfish tartine or pastrami-spiced beef culotte on a biscuit — flanked by housemade potato chips. Midday teetotalers can forego the cocktails in favor of housemade sodas in flavors like rosemary-citrus.
Another viable new option for the lunchtime crowd can be found at new Gert Town hot spot Kin. Also offered Tuesday through Friday, the menu includes multiple ramen options (duck, pork, or miso broths) with housemade noodles, dumplings, and Vietnamese crepes.
