Killer Poboys, the French Quarter pop up that's brought beloved new school po' boys to the Erin Rose since 2012, is expanding with a new restaurant two blocks away, Ian McNulty reports this week. Owners Cam Boudreaux and wife April Bellow have partnered with former R'evolution sous Eric Baucom to open the large second location in the former Nosh (and prior to that, Annette's) space at 219 Dauphine Street later this summer.
The new Killer Po' Boys will have a big kitchen and an actual dining room. The menu will also expand with breakfast items, snacks, salads, and more of those great po boys—reimagined classics that marry street food with fine dining technique. Plans to add booze, inlcuding beer and craft daiqs, are in the works. Cam Boudreaux also hopes the space will allow him to do more events now, including festivals, and potentially host pop ups at night as well.
The Erin Rose location will also remain open.
