Opening Report: Lakeview Burgers & Seafood Lands on Harrison; Nine Roses Cafe Hits Quarter; More

This week's openings include a new burger spot, a Vietnamese cafe, and the relocation of a Thai favorite.

LAKEVIEW— A small, new burger restaurant Lakeview Burgers & Seafood has just opened up in the former Jaeger Burger spot on Harrison Avenue next to Parlay's. Owner Joe Faroldi and family does po boys, burgers, Cubans and more for lunch and dinner, including late night hours. Status: Certified open at 872 Harrison Ave.

FRENCH QUARTER— Nine Roses Cafe, the small Quarter expansion from Westbank stalwarts Nine Roses Nine Roses Cafe is now open on Conti. Unlike the original Nine Roses the new cafe only serves classic Vietnamese (no Chinese menu item) for lunch and dinner. Status: Certified open at 620 Conti Street.

MARIGNY— The Marigny location of pad thai and drunken noodle fave Sukho Thai has relocated to a spot on Royal and Esplanade. The moves comes with the same menu, but far more seating and a new, full bar. Status: Certified open at 2200 Royal Street.
