FRENCH QUARTER—SoBou at the W Hotel will host a "Girls Pint Out" this Thursday night from 6 to 8 p.m. featuring cocktails made with beer. Cocktail wizard Abigail Gullo will be whipping up drinks wtih New Belgium Brewing Company's new Pear Ginger Beer. Admission is $15. [EaterWire]

OP EDS—New Orleans Magazine's Errol Laborde has a few things to say about the punks who vandalized St. Roch Market: "There should be a special place in hell for those who do graffiti. ... We can only hope that one day they will mature and realize the wrongs of their reasoning and their deeds." [My New Orleans]

LISTICLES—No surprise here: The Roosevelt Hotel's Sazerac Bar was named one of the world's top 30 hotel bars by CNN. It's in pretty good company, with others on the list located in far-off locales like Shanghai, Dubai, and Tanania. [CNN via NOLA.com]

CRAWFISH WIRE—The fourth annual Crawfish Mambo went down Saturday as 47 teams battled it out for $1,000. For the second year in a row, the title of "Best of Boil" went to accounting corporation Postlethwaite & Netterville (apparently those guys know as much about mudbugs as they do about finance). The crowd favorite award was nabbed by local spice company Geaux Creole. [EaterWire]
