Famed French Quarter oyster house Felix's suffered a kitchen fire this morning, but Jonathan Bullington of The Times-Pic reports that the fire is under control:
Slight smoke could be seen coming from the roof of the building. Initial reports from firefighters at the scene suggest no one at the restaurant was injured. One firefighter suffered a minor burn to his hand.
The fire was placed under control a little after 9 a.m. after a first call went out at 8:48 a.m.
