Tariq Hanna and Joel Dondis newly opened French Quarter restaurant Salon By Sucre is home to many things: a bottom floor sweets shop with a Modbar coffee maker, the finest tea selection in town, an exquisite lounge area, both a GM and bar manager from Danny Meyer's Union Square Cafe in New York City.  Something else its home to: These so-hot-right-now sliderettes that can rest on you thumb, and a killer Brandy Milkshake Punch to wash them down.

The microburgers are available on the appetizer menu. From left to right:  The classic slider with American cheese and housemade ketchup.  A crawfish slider with key lime curry aioli. And a lamb slider with Za'atar tzatziki.

The Brandy Milkshake Punch, created to accompany the sliders from bartender Beth McCaskey, is a play on the classic brandy milk punch, served with a guest's choice of ice cream, half and half, or even skim milk (if, say, the guest doesn't want to have any fun) and served in a glass milk carton.
