After eighteen years of solid business at its current Westbank location, Vietnamese and Chinese favorite Nine Roses is expanding with a second location in the French Quarter, Todd Price reports this week. Second-generation owner Anna Nguyen will open Nine Roses Cafe at 620 Conti Street (next door to the newly-opened Salon By Sucre) in May. The new location will be far smaller than the flagship, and the menu will focus strictly on Vietnamese specialties. The restaurant is currently applying for a license to booze.
