Big news for the Finn McCool's and Treo team in Mid City this week, per Ian McNulty. Chef Michael Gulotta will take over the kitchen at Finn's after St. Patrick's Day with a menu of pub grub including fish and chips, Irish grilled cheese 'toasties', Manchego potato wedges, burgers and more. One MoPho staple will also come along to the walk-up window too: the lemongrass and ginger chicken wings. Longtime pop up BooKoo BBQ ended its tenure at the bar—which has also been somewhat of a food truck hotspot—last year.
McNulty also reports that Ray Gruetske, chef behind Mid City gem Rue 127, is now consulting on Treo's food menu, after chef James Cullen departed the Tulane Avenue cocktail and small plates hub earlier this year.
