METAIRIE— Glen Hogh, former owner of Vega Tapaswas arrested and booked with failure to account for local taxes  and tax evasion.The restaurant overcharged sales tax on customer bills, which Hogh tells the Times-Pic was actually a mix up and the "result of a computer error when the restaurant installed a new point of sale system." CBD— The Fountain Lounge will host a Whiskies of the Sazerac Company dinner and bourbon pairing on Wednesday, March 11 from 6  to 9 p.m. Chef Mark A. Majorie and team will also host a beer dinner on April 29 and a wine dinner on May 20. $70/person, more information here. [Eaterwire]
