Ralph Brennan, famed restaurateur most recently known for resurrecting Brennan's from bankruptcy and the brink of destruction, has just purchased another French Quarter institution, Napoleon HouseTodd Price reports.   The deal will be finalized on April 30. The Pimm's Cup hub, also known for a killer muffuletta, has been owned by the family Impastato for over 100 years, so why sell now, according to Sal Impastato:

"I said maybe I'll keep it going to the 100th year. About two years before the anniversary, I came to the realization that no family (member) wanted to take it over."

A friend of the family recommended Ralph Brennan as a potential buyer, and the rest is history. Brennan doesn't foresee any major changes or renovations in store for Napoleon House, and plans to offer jobs to the current staff including Impastato family members, noting "I don't plan to do anything but learn from Sal and his family."
