Brooklyn Brewery-Dinner Lab-Hogs Fundraiser Mashup

Porky goodness filled the air with the annual Brooklyn Brewery Mash Dinner Lab event.

Under the watchful phalluses and crass wordplay of the floats in the iniquitous Den of Muses, (which, confusingly, is Krewe du Vieux's home base), Dinner Lab hosted one of Brooklyn Brewery's signature Mash events. As it was also a Hogs for the Cause Fundraiser for Dinner Lab's team (Swine Lab) the dinner featured a pork product in every course.

Bottles of hard to find, high-alcohol Brooklyn Brewery beer like Cuvee Noir, K is For Kriek, and Hand & Seal barleywine complemented the dishes beautifully, particularly the kriek, which was a perfect match for Brooklyn's house chef Andrew Gerson's Vietnamese pork stew.

Pork, beer, and oversize paper mache penises - just another night in New Orleans.
