Bacchanal Hosts A Second Line For Chris Rudge This Sunday

BYWATER— Brett Anderson reports that Bacchanal will be closed for normal business this coming Sunday, March 22, as a second line for cofounder Chris Rudge, who died unexpectedly last Friday, is planned at 1 p.m. The second line starts at Bacchanal, heads to Crescent Park, where Rudge's ashes will be spread, then returns to Bacchanal for a party including potluck style foods from Dan Esses, NAthaniel Zimet and more plus live music.  [NOLA.com]

MID CITY— Saints kicker Garrett Hartley will participate in Finn McCool's (3701 Banks) fifth annual St. Baldrick's Day block party this Saturday, March 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with all sorts of head-shaving action going on for charity.The event has collected almost $370,000 to date to combat pediatric cancer.
