Gert Town is where it's at this weekend, with the exciting new modern American restaurant Kin opening tomorrow evening at 5 p.m., according to Todd Price. Kin is the brainchild of chef Hieu Than— an alum of Tom Colicchio's Craftbar and Corton in NYC and more recently Gautreau's, where he honed his skills under Sue Zemanick— and chef Nate Nguyen, most recently of Bayona.
The menu will feature modern 'eclectic' American with Asian, French, and even Italian influences ("no woks" say the chefs) at reasonable prices/entrees in $15-$25 range. Food Porn this way. Kin will only be open for dinner and BYOB at first. Lunch and booze to follow.
