A new redesign keeps the historic features like the original tin roof and black and white tile floor while incorporating new and improved architectural features that pay homage to the French Quarter traditional aesthetic.

Yesterday evening, much schmoozing occurred while a brass band played and local burlesque lady Trixie Minx watched over the celebration from her perch on Desire's bar top. Wine and signature cocktails like the traditional Pimms cup and the "Texas Mule" were passed around by the smiling staff.
