Lower Garden District coffee shop The Reservoir Cafe is undergoing a revamp and will soon reopen as a creperie, says Best of New Orleans.

The cafe shuttered in late January with plans to relaunch with a concept similar to that of sister restaurant De Ville Coffee House & Creperie in the French Quarter. De Ville serves sweet and savory crepes with an expansive selection of fillings, from Nutella and bananas to smoked salmon with cream cheese.

As Best of New Orleans points out, "The expansion of creperies across the city might just be one of 2015's most unexpected trends thus far." In addition to The Reservoir Cafe's reconcepting, there's also The French Market's Crepe Cart and the recently announced expansion of the Dirty Dishes crepe truck to the upcoming St. Roch Market.
