Hot Vietnamese Expansion Magasin Kitchen Opens In The Paramount

Another anticipated opening for the South Market District.

Brasted

Vietnamese eatery Magasin Kitchen is now open in The Paramount at 611 O'Keefe Ave, Ian McNulty reports. The new expansion from restaurateur Kim Nguyen (of Uptown's Magasin and The Pressery) joins Willa Jean and Company Burger in the most booming section of town, the newly-anointed South Market District.

As for the menu, Magasin Kitchen serves up noodle shop standards as found at the flagship along with 'home-style' signatures including stir-fries, curries, and fried rice dishes passed down from Nguyen's family recipes. Helen Freund also reports some new banh mi options include steak and eggs and a pork meatloaf version. The spot is currently BYOB, but expected to add a full bar in January, and with it, a bar snack and cocktail menu as well.

Hours: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily
