MID CITY— Ian McNulty reports that popular Burmese pop up Lahpet will bring a weekday lunch menu to Milkfish starting January 4, with signature Southeast Asian salads, curries and more, available Mon-Fri, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Take out also available at (504) 267-4199, and 10% of all proceeds will go to One World Family International scholarship fund. NOLA— New Orleans-based nomadic supper club Dinner Lab is laying off 30 full-time employees and shifting to a "contract-based model for its events staff." [TechCrunch.com]
