St. James Cheese Co. has just opened the doors to its new Warehouse District location, and the spot is a stunner. With retail, cheese plates and beer/wine in full effect now until Christmas Eve, do expect the full food menu to become available on December 29.
Unlike the Uptown flagship, the new location features separate lines for placing kitchen orders and buying from the cheese case, and also has a cheese bar (kind of like a sushi bar) for tastings and small bites galore. This is the second expansion in a year from owners Richard and Danielle Sutton, who also opened Continental Provisions in the French Market in December 2014 as well.
Open today, December 23 and Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Official hours begin on December 29, open Tues-Thurs, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fri-Sat, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
