After a quick renovation, beloved Uptown bakery La Boulangerie is now open under the ownership of the Link Group, Todd Price reports. The selection of baked goods remains mostly the same, but pastry chef Maggie Scales has also added signature items including morning buns and kouign-amann, a few new breads, and a sandwich menu featuring Cochon Butcher charcuterie.
La Boulangerie is also reaching for third wave enthusiasts with the addition of Congregation Coffee, a New Orleans coffee roaster co-founded by a Butcher alum. The bakery will also supply all Link Group restaurants with bread and pastries. Hours: Mon-Sat, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sun, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
