This week Helen Freund reviews Metairie's Indian and Pakistani Halal hub Shyan's Kitchen: Owner and chef Irfan Khan cranks out delicious naan and grilled meats from his tandoori and clay ovens at this hidden gem that specializes in rich curries, vegetarian fare, and goat dishes (a nod to feasts that Khan "grew up with at his grandfather's farm in the Himalayas").
