QUARTER— Ian McNulty reports that the new Killer Po' Boys will be opening in phases, and you can catch a preview this this week,  November 12-14, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. A regular schedule of Wed-Mon hours will start soon after.  [Advocate]

RIVERBEND— Carrollton Market launches a new happy hour tomorrow, November 10, with $6 classic cocktails/wines, free hors d'oeuvres, and $8 hamburger and fries, from 5 to 7 p.m. every Tues-Fri.  The restaurant is also rocking Sat-Sun brunch and a  $39 three-course prix fixe ever Tuesday, with menus based around what's fresh at local farmers market.  [Eaterwire]
