Whoo Doo BBQ Lands on N. Broad; Walk-On's Eyes Northshore Expansion

CBD— Emeril Foundation's Boudin, Bourbon & Beer throws down tomorrow at 6 p.m. in Champion's Square with the biggest chef lineup (and more space) its ever had, including chefs Andy Ticer and Michael Hudman, the Memphis-based James Beard finalists who will run an upcoming restaurant in Nola's highly-anticipated Ace Hotel. []

NOLA— Ian McNulty reports that street food pro and founder of NOLA Foods sauces Demeitriek Scott is now running the barebones but tasty Whoo Doo BBQ (2660 St. Phillip St. at N. Broad) with "plate lunches of spicy jerk chicken, thick-cut ribs and steaks" Tues-Sat, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can also catch Chef Scott at this weekend's Treme Gumbo Fest and Oak Street Po' Boy Fest on November 22.
