The Station, a proposed bakery and coffee shop that could take over a former gas station on Bienville and N. Alexander in Mid City goes before the City Planning Commission today, Todd Price reports. Baker/Angelo Brocato's alum Megan Walker and husband Jonathan Walker have plans to bake breads/pastries and roast coffee on site. The location would be easily accessible to cyclists on the nearby Lafitte Greenway, and if approved could open as soon as summer 2016.
