Hotly-anticipated opening Tchoupitoulas Beer Garden (or TBG for short) makes its official debut on October 24 in the Warehouse District, Will Coviello reports. A grand opening party at the new spot indoor German-style beer garden (840 Tchoup) will happen from 6 to 10 p.m. this Saturday with proceeds benefiting Cafe Reconcile.
As for what to expect? Eight beers on tap and food/beverage available for purchase via a coin system, according to Todd Price, with each coin worth $4.50. German and American brews, intriguing boilmakers (shot and a beer), and plenty of Bavarian-inspired eats in the $5 to $20 range, including small plates, flatbreads, sausages, and charcuterie. Food and beverage menus here.
