Coast Roast Does Free Coffee Tasting; Dining Out For Students

ST. ROCH— Coast Roast Coffee hosts a complimentary coffee tasting on October 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. (inside St. Roch Market).  A VIP experience is also available for $15 ($20 at door) which includes making a special blend to take home. [Eaterwire]

CITY PARK— The 4th annual Future Takes Flight fundraiser to benefit the cost of ReNew students' college visits and field trips will go down at the Arbor Room on November 12 from 7 to 10 p.m. with live entertainment, raffles, food from Sylvain, Ye Olde College Inn and more area restaurant. Tickets are $65 ($50 for educators) and available here. WAREHOUSE DISTRICT— Stephen Stryjewski hosts a dinner at Cochon on October 25 at 5 p.m. to raise money for the Waldorf School of New Orleans' 8th graders as they prepare for a class trip to Belize. NOLA— NOLA Brewing releases Wandering Eye-PA, the first official beer of their new Lagniappe Series, on October 27.  The session IPA has the most hops NOLA Brewing has ever put into a beer.  Available in the NOLA Brewing Tap Room, and at select bars around town. [Eaterwire]
