Susan Spicer has received City Council's approval to bring a new neighborhood eatery to the edge of Lakeview and Mid City, Alicia Serrano reports this week, to the Navarre neighborhood. Councilmembers gave a unanimous thumbs up to the proposed restaurant, which will take over a dilapidated former police station at 801 Rosedale Dr. (off Canal St.) owned by Kevin Centanni.
The property only has enough space for half a dozen parking spots, so neighbors are still expressing concern over the issue of parking and Centanni is reportedly looking to "get a lease for additional parking."
