Several big names in New Orleans restaurant scene have been getting gussied-up over the summer, with plans to open in the next week.
Ian McNulty reports that Dickie Brennan's Canal Street restaurant Palace Cafe will debut its new renovations—including a swanky new upstairs rum lounge with its own small plates menu, a new charcuterie kitchen led by chef Renee Bajeaux, and an update to the regular menu— on October 10.
Todd Price reports that Uptown po' boy icon Domilise's has been closed since September 14 for a little renovation, and will reopen tomorrow, October 3, with a "cleaner...less cluttered" look and "all-new kitchen."
