The highly-anticipated St. Claude Avenue food vendor hub St. Roch Market is gearing up to open in April 2015, and Todd Price has the low down on four new additions to the food line up this week. Joining the previously-announced likes of Cleaver & Co's charc-maker Kriss Doll, Koreole Creole/Korean pop up, among other are:
- Lagos, No frills Nigerian from chef Tunde Way, who recently made the move from Detroit to NOLA,
- Tallulah's, international fare from the hot pop up currently located in Lava Supermarket on Broad
- Curious Oyster Company, a raw bar with crudite run by former Cafe Hope chef and Mosquito Supper Club founder Melissa Martin
- Coast Roast Coffee, coffee stand from Holy Cross-based roasters
St. Roch Market will also be announcing an upcoming fishmonger, cocktail bar operator, baker, and more vendors in the very near future. Once open in April, their plan is to operate daily from 9 a.m to 11 p.m., making St. Claude an even more hotter culinary destination than it's become in the past year alone with the recent additions of Red's Chinese, Kebab, Arabella Casa di Pasta and Sneaky Pickle.
