FAIR GROUNDS: Jazz Fest has announced the 2015 music line-up, including Elton John, The Who, Jerry Lee Lewis, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, No Doubt, Pitbull and more.  []

SOUTH MARKET DISTRICT: Upcoming Booty's expansion Ursa Major gets an oh so major shout out in The New York Times' list of 52 Places to Go in 2015. New Orleans ranks 23rd on the list, with lots of anticipation for the South Market District (where Ursa Major will be located inside The Paramount) and new spots in the CBD too. [NYT]
