Bywater Gets A Temporary Food Truck Lot For October

Bywater, land of kale folk, praline bacon and exceptional dive bars, is getting a temporary food truck lot at St. Claude Avenue and Feliciana, reports Todd A. Price. What's now a vacant lot will bloom with festivities three nights a week this October thanks to neighborhood nonprofit St. Claude Main Street and food truck wranglers My House NOLA.

The Food Truck Park will run from 6 to 9 p.m. every Thursday-Saturday, October 2 to November 8. Expect 3+ trucks on hand, as well as pop-ups EmpanadaNOLA, Koreole and Laurel's Licks ice cream, and beer for purchase. Live music, picnic tables, portable restrooms, security and bike parking are also planned. More details right here.
