New York based restaurateurs Sean Josephs and Mani Dawes (of Maysville fame) will anchor the new development at Nashville and Magazine with a new Uptown restaurant, Robert Morris reports.
The yet-to-be-named concept will be an 89-seat neighborhood affair that will focus on pastries and coffee in the mornings, casual lunch, and casual fine dining with the promise oysters and hard-to-find bourbons at night. No word on the exact type of cuisine (or chef for that matter), but Maysville is known for their Southern fare. The restaurant is still yet to be named, and will open in Spring 2015 at the earliest. Reactions from the neighborhood are mixed, with some residents fearing more parking woes.
