Champion's Square has stepped up its tailgating game this season, with free entry, live music, and two brand new options for food, drinks, and Who Dat revelry.
Opening Act is now open in the former New Orleans Center food court, and brings a FREE tailgating experience in the form of an indoor, climate-controlled sports bar. The space opens three hours prior to the Saints game and, despite its name, Opening Act is also open during the game and an hour after, with food and drink specials starting at kickoff.
Club XLIV is geared more toward ticket-holders, closing at kickoff. The sports bar features DJs and food from Food Drunk. There's a $10 entry fee, but that includes a free drink. The newly revamped space features new hard floors and furniture, mounted TVs, and decor. This is a pre-gaming spot only, a pretty swanky one at that.
