Longtime romantic dining destination Feelings Cafe is going up for sale in the Marigny, Todd Price reports: "The business and the property, which are being sold together, go on the market later this week... The buyer will get Feelings' liquor license, furnishings and even the art on the walls." The asking price is $1,455,000 with current owner Jim Baird fairly convinced that the restaurant will remain Feelings after the sale, based on early interest from at least two different buyers.
As for Anne Churchill's vegan destination, Bhava, which is located upstairs, the restaurant will likely move to a new space, though it will obviously be up to the new owner if they can stay (ditto on the Swan River Yoga space). Price also reports that Churchill may be opening a "second, unspecified restaurant" as well.
