NEW ORLEANS/LOUISIANA—Todd Price, determined to pick a fight with every foodie in the city, has put together his list of 50 things to eat and sip at New Orleans restaurants and bars. Price says of the vetting process for the list, "This is not a roundup of New Orleans classics. There was no complicated criteria that qualified these dishes and drinks for our list. Our personal appetites guided us, and we stand tall and say that these 50 won't disappoint. This is a list of dishes and cocktails for locals (or visitors who want to eat like locals). It is for those who already know where to get the best Sazerac, beignets or remoulades." Check to see if your favorite is on the list. [NOLA.com]

NATIONWIDE—Women's Foodservice Forum launches "100K Strong Commitment Campaign," which, according to Sarah Baird, aims to address the lack of lady leadership in restaurants. Examining and correcting the causes for this disparity is supported by several New Orleans food industry luminaries including Chef Susan Spicer of Bayona and Mondo, Ti Martin of Commander's Palace and Katy Casbarian of Arnaud's and French 75.
