Get ready for even more boudin, bourbon, and beer on November 7. The enormously popular fourth annual fundraising event featuring booze and pork is moving to bigger digs in Champion Square this year, which should be a relief for those who dealt with the heaving crowds and quickly sold out food of last year. The fundraiser, co-chaired by Emeril Lagasse and Donald Link, features a who's who of the region's best pork chefs and all proceeds will benefit the Emeril Lagasse Foundation.
Boudin will be provided in a variety of delicious ways from local chefs John Besh, Tory McPhail, Susan Spicer, Phillip Lopez, Alon Shaya, Adolfo Garcia, Michael Stoltzfus, and Kristin Essig. Rick Tramonto, Hugh Acheson, Ed Lee, and Ashley Christensen from out of state. Abita Brewing will be sponsoring again, providing the beer to wash down the chefs' many boudin creations.
Starting on Friday, for the month of August, presale tickets will cost $85. After that, tickets will be $99 before the event and $125 at the door. All food, cocktails, and beer are included with the price of admission.
