Farm To Table Pop-up, We Live To Eat Week

GARDEN DISTRICT—Chef Ryan Hughes will be bringing a "Farm to Table" themed menu to his Purloo popup on Friday, 8/1. NEW ORLEANS— The annual We Live To Eat restaurant week is approaching, when local restaurants showcase special menus and prix fixe specials during the week of September 8-14. Throughout August leading up to the week, Whole Foods locations in Arabella Station and Metairie will also be hosting chef demonstrations of the various We Live To Eat dishes from restaurants like Arnaud's, Mr. B's Bistro, Galatoire's, and Domenica.In September, locals and visitors alike will be able to enjoy discounted two-course lunch ($20 or less) and three-course dinner menus ($39 or less) from more than 50 of the city's dining destinations including Chef Emeril Lagasse's flagship restaurants – Emeril's, Emeril's Delmonico and NOLA Restaurant; Chef John Besh's establishments – Domenica, Lüke, Borgne, La Provence and August; and other New Orleans restaurants such as Commander's Palace, Antoine's Restaurant, Café Giovanni, Drago's Seafood Restaurant, Red Fish Grill, Le Foret, Ruth's Chris Steak House, SoBou; Galatoire's 33 Bar & Steak and more.
