Tiki Tolteca Relaunching With Fertility Drink, Rum Brains

The hottest revamp of the summer Tiki Tolteca will reopen on Saturday, July 12, which gives you just enough time to sneak in pre-Tales-onslaught for a taste of Nathan Dalton, Maxton Kennedy, and company's new drinks. Anne Berry has the latest on the upcoming drinks list, which will keep a few favorites including the Zombie, Mai Tai, and Escorpion Punch, but add many more "new creations relying on Latin American ingredients," including a Peruvian fertility drink. Plus, BRAINS: "a jellied 'brain' infused with an ounce of Lemon Hart rum" will accompany the Zombie (duh), and a new spoon straw will help you slurp dat boozy brain jelly up. $7 extra let's you keep your tiki mug.

Onward to the revamp of the actual space, per Berry: "The latest renovation doubles the counter space to seat 12 at the bar, and adds tables for dinner guests" and decor "reflecting a focus on Latin American tiki culture." The food menu is still being worked out.
