Boucherie Is Moving, Opening a New Daiq & Wing Shop

It's an expansion. It's a switcheroo. It's a glorious thing: Boucherie is moving into the just-shuttered Cafe Granada location (1506 S Carrollton) this fall, reports Todd A. Price, and they'll also open a yet-to-be-named daiq/chicken wing shop in their current space (8115 Jeannette). The upcoming Boucherie space will allow chef Nathaniel Zimet, GM James Denio and team to branch out with 17 more seats and a waiting area, and it also shares a backyard with the current space, which will dazzle with new school daiquiris and wings "in four to five styles, such as kim chi hot sauce." The wing shop will also showcase tapas inspired by the Caribbean, South Pacific and Southern India.

Both restaurants are hoping to open in October "if all goes as planned." Boucherie will close up shop August 16 to September 9 to work on the new space and finalize their wing/daiq menu.
