Yeah. You. Right. Legendary Saints quarterback/sportscaster/"Cajun Cannon" Bobby Hebert is opening family-friendly Cajun Cannon in Metairie come mid-August, Todd Price reports. Located in the former Carmine's/Cozumel Grill location (4101 Vets), the restaurant and bar a collab with Hebert's wife and Oceana owner Moe Bader will obviously be a Who Dat Nation mecca with tons of sports memorabilia, 30+ televisions (including in the bathrooms), and a dining area with "movie theater-style surround sound." Hebert's pre-game show Countdown to Kickoff will also be broadcast from the restaurant.
The food features 100, yes 100, menu items including Louisiana fare galore, fried seafood, and even a $50 seven-patty cheeseburger that's free if you can finish it. If not you'll pay the price, but at least you'll get to watch television while doing so.
