MARIGNY— Sarah Baird reports that SOFAB is restoring a house at 1515 Pauger Street to use for residencies: "the former home of 18th- and 19th-century butcher, grocer, and businesswoman Rosette Rochon... is undergoing renovations to serve as a space for visiting chefs and food scholars to live for over a month's time." QUARTER— Galatoire's and Galatoire's 33 Bar & Steak are rolling out the summer promotions from now until August 29, including Traditional Tuesdays (ie. wear seersucker/pearls/etc. get a free appetizer), Wine Wednesdays, $3 premium martinis at lunch Tuesdays-Thursdays. 33 is also doing a prix fixe every Friday at lunch for $25 (also w/ $3 martinis.)
