NOLA— The Times-Pic reports that Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana (CRCL) has officially kicked off Louisiana's first ever oyster shell recycling program with restaurants including Peche, Luke, Felix's, Acme and Bourbon House "expected to provide about 25 to 30 tons of shells per week" for reef restoration . A million dollar grant from Shell should keep the program, which is FREE for restaurants, running for the next 3 years. [NOLA.com]
